Yardley, Pennsylvania is a small, picturesque borough in Bucks County located along the Delaware River about 30 miles from Philadelphia. First settled in 1682 by William Yardley (who purchased land from William Penn), Yardley has deep colonial roots. Over time it evolved from a riverside farm and ferry crossing into a modest industrial village, and eventually, after incorporation in 1895, into the charming river-town many know today.
