Got Clutter?

In a lot of homes, the kitchen becomes the collection point for all the kids’ stuff when they get home from school. Backpacks, jackets, lunchboxes, and sports equipment end up getting dumped on the table or kitchen island as the kids raid the fridge for a snack. But if you are going to invest in a kitchen remodel, why not take the extra step and define a storage area in the entrance way, improve existing closets, or create a “mud room” for the clutter?

There are dozens of ways to maximize storage space and reduce clutter that can blend seamlessly into your home’s theme and style. Cubby nooks in the hallway (top) with hooks for jackets and backpacks, and cabinets and drawers for all the other stuff kids accumulate work in many homes. Or a walk-in closet with sliding barn doors (above) can accommodate heavier coats, boots, and other stuff while, again, keeping with the style of the home. If you have a problem with clutter in the kitchen, contact us to set up a consultation with one of our designers. They are experts in finding novel ways to improve storage that work with your style and needs and help you “Dream it. Build it. Love it.”
