Phoenixville Bath Remodel - LBK Design Build

Phoenixville Master Bath Remodel

DESIGN CONCEPT

This family was looking for a bathroom remodel with the goal of expanding the shower and creating separate his and hers spaces. We accomplished this by removing the platform tub and moving the shower into that space. We were able to meet all the wishes of the family without disrupting any existing walls, and keeping the original footprint of the room while fully utilizing the space.

ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN

The original floorplan of this room featured a small standing shower and platform tub, which the family no longer used, and wanted to replace with a larger standing shower.

NEW FLOOR PLAN

The new floor plan better utilizes the space of the existing bathroom by removing the tub and putting the shower where it was. By expanding into one of the closets, we were able to install his vanity in the space where the previous shower was. We made sure to give them additional storage space as well with a walk-in linen closet with built-in shelving and cabinetry, giving this bathroom a cleaner, more luxurious feeling.

FINISHES

The flooring for this bathroom is a warm brown LVP which ties in the warmth of the countertops to add contrast within the room. The dynamic between warm and cool tones is complemented by the stainless steel plumbing fixtures and accessories.

CABINETS

The cabinets used in this remodel are from Legacy Crafted Cabinets in their Payton Maple style in the color “origami white”. They feature satin nickel hardware to match the light, cool tones throughout the space.

TILE & STONE

This remodel features beige quartz sink countertops from MSI Quartz, which add some warmth to the room. The shower flooring and niche are comprised of a marble-look hexagon tile which compliments the marble-look tile in the shower and adds a focal point to the space.
