Bensalem Kitchen Remodel

DESIGN CONCEPT

For this kitchen remodel, we were tasked with transforming this family’s kitchen to better suit their needs. The primary objective was to remove a dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a more spacious and functional area for food preparation and organization. The end result is a beautifully designed transitional style kitchen, combining ample storage space with optimal functionality.

ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN

The original floor plan had a dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room. Our design team suggested removing the wall to give a more open and seamless flow in the space. This change improved the overall layout, provided the family with a designated area to enjoy meals together, and eliminated the separation between the two rooms.

NEW FLOOR PLAN

The new floor plan removed the wall and created an open and spacious kitchen area. To enhance functionality, we strategically shifted the doorway opening to provide more walking space in front of the refrigerator. Additionally, we relocated the sink in front of the window, which improved both the view and the flow of the room. To further enhance the kitchen, we added a peninsula for additional seating and preparation space.

FINISHES

To create a timeless aesthetic, we incorporated matte black hardware and plumbing fixtures. The addition of bright recessed lighting enhanced the room’s clean, modern appearance. And to introduce texture into the space, we opted for a wood-look LVP flooring in the color “Chartreuse.”

CABINETS

The cabinets in this kitchen are custom-made by Legacy Handcrafted Cabinets. They feature the Hamilton door style and are finished in a beautiful color called “Silver Mist.” The lower cabinets and peninsula are designed to match the style and color of the upper cabinets.

TILE & STONE

The new kitchen showcases elegant quartz countertops in the sophisticated shade of “Iced Grey” from MSI. These sleek countertops blend beautifully with the classic white ceramic subway tile backsplash and enhance the transitional aesthetic of the room.
