Horsham Kitchen Remodel
DESIGN CONCEPT
This family wanted a kitchen remodel that gave them an open floor plan to accommodate their growing family. Their goal was to incorporate organic colors and textures to create a Modern Farmhouse style and a welcoming space for both family and guests. They were looking for an efficient use of the existing space and sought to connect the kitchen with the dining area, which was located in a different section of the home.

NEW FLOOR PLAN
We increased kitchen space by removing the playroom wall and relocating the playroom to another part of the house. We used this additional space to install a larger island with seating as well as a dining area for family meals. We also installed a coffee and wine bar. The finished room features a large bay window that bathes the room in natural light and highlights the organic feeling of the space.

FINISHES
Our designers created the Modern Farmhouse style through a mixture of modern color and rustic texture. Black hardware and plumbing fixtures contrast well with the bright white cabinetry and farm sink. Texture is incorporated into the space through the rustic wooden floating shelves and the wood band accent around the range hood, which is a custom fabrication created to match the LVP flooring in the room.

CABINETS
The bright white cabinets are the Hancock door style from Wellborn Cabinets. The kitchen island features the same style cabinets in the color “Willow.”

TILE & STONE
The backsplash is comprised of 3”x 9” white ceramic subway tile arranged in a herringbone pattern. The countertops are a marble looking Calacatta Laza quartz from MSI and were selected to complement the modern farmhouse style. The Cairo Oak Coretec LVP flooring also accentuates the Modern Farmhouse style.
