DESIGN CONCEPT

The goal was to transform a dated living space into a modern, open-concept design that caters to family gatherings and everyday functionality. Incorporating Scandinavian minimalism, the space was designed with calming tones, natural light, and clean lines to create an inviting and harmonious atmosphere.

ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN

The original floor plan featured separated rooms with limited natural light and a dated, closed-off layout that didn’t accommodate the family’s need for an open, welcoming space.

NEW FLOOR PLAN

The new layout maintained the structural beam but integrated it into a unique architectural design element that doubles as support and a visual accent. Walls were opened up to create a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas, maximizing both natural light and space functionality.
