New Hope Master Bathroom Remodel

DESIGN CONCEPT

This family wanted to turn their outdated bathroom into a modern, spa-like retreat. Our design approach combined contemporary elements with practicality. We improved functionality by reconfiguring the layout, reducing the size of the bathtub, and adding lighting. The finished project combined stylish storage and refined design.

ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN

The original floor plan was cluttered and inefficient. A closet limited shower access, double sinks where inconveniently placed, and the shower and toilet were situated at impractical angles. Furthermore, a large jacuzzi tub overwhelmed the space and left little room for daily routines.

NEW FLOOR PLAN

Our redesigned floor plan created space and separation between the hall, shower, toilet, and jacuzzi tub. We eliminated the bathroom closet and the sink that was positioned in front of it and replaced them with floor-to-ceiling peppercorn-stained cabinets. We opened up the shower on the left to create a more spacious feeling and added a heated towel rack where the closet once stood. The remaining left side of the room was closed off to give privacy to the toilet area.

We modernized the space with lighter paint, recessed lighting, elegant wall molding, heated floors, and arched shower niches accented with mosaic tiles. The previously dark and cramped bathroom was redesigned to be the bright and modestly refined space that the homeowners wanted.

FINISHES

Our clients envisioned a brighter, more elegant space with enhanced lighting and refined product selections. To achieve this, we opted for soft, neutral colors that project tranquility, subtly contrasted by darker textured cabinets for a touch of depth and sophistication.

CABINETS

The peppercorn-stained cabinets are complimented by brushed nickel fixtures, matte white Emser tiling, and a sleek, neutral quartzite countertop with a Taj Mahal-inspired look. Dual vanities provide efficient storage for the Jack and Jill sinks, while the floor-to-ceiling cabinets now stylishly and neatly house their belongings.

TILE & STONE

The bathroom features a soft, understated color palette, accented with brushed nickel for subtle contrast. Monroe triangle mosaic tiles highlight the shower floor while the rest of the bathroom flooring is finished with elegant White Jatter Emser tiles that create a cohesive and refined look.
