There’s a particular kind of pride that comes with owning an older home in the Philadelphia suburbs. Maybe it’s a fieldstone farmhouse outside Buckingham with walls two feet thick, a stone Main Line twin in Bryn Mawr with a century of additions behind it, or a Doylestown Victorian with plaster ceilings and trim no one makes anymore. From Bucks County through Montgomery and Delaware counties, this region is full of homes with real history in their bones.
