Doylestown Master Bath Remodel
DESIGN CONCEPT
The Doylestown bathroom renovation was designed to deliver a spa-like experience within the comfort of home. This project reimagined the layout and finishes to create a space that balances sophistication, functionality, and serenity. By introducing upgraded fixtures, elegant tilework, and sleek cabinetry, the new design transforms the bathroom into a calming retreat tailored to modern lifestyles.
ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN
The original bathroom layout felt compartmentalized and lacked cohesion. Outdated materials and inefficient use of space made the room feel smaller, with limited functionality and little opportunity for relaxation or comfort.NEW FLOOR PLAN
The revised floor plan includes a reoriented bathtub and shower layout, the addition of a knee wall with a niche, and a custom-built bench for comfort and convenience. The space was opened up for improved circulation and brighter natural light. Strategic repositioning of the shower and tub enhances flow, while thoughtful built-ins like a niche and seat maximize utility without clutter.
FINISHES
A calm, neutral palette of whites, grays, and matte blacks was chosen to create a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. Polished quartz countertops from Emerstone Venus complement the cabinetry and provide a clean, durable surface. Kohler framed mirrors, matte black faucets, and matching fixtures add contrast and a refined, cohesive feel to the space.
CABINETS
The vanity cabinetry features Allure Timber—a sleek and modern selection with ample storage and soft-close drawers. The cabinetry design provides both function and beauty, contributing to the overall clean-lined aesthetic while hiding clutter with smart drawer organization.
TILE & STONE
The bathroom includes a rich mix of textures and patterns. The main flooring is hexagon matte porcelain tile in a warm gray, paired with Eden White hex polished porcelain mosaic on the shower floor. Shower walls are lined with Blu Notte glossy porcelain subway tile, arranged in a 50/50 horizontal pattern. The shower curb and knee wall are topped with Absolute Black honed granite, offering contrast and durability. Black Schluter trim frames the tile edges for a clean finish. Behind the freestanding soaking tub, bold geometric wallpaper adds a striking visual focal point.
