New Hope Kitchen Remodel

DESIGN CONCEPT

The remodeled kitchen transforms a dark, traditional space with wood cabinetry and a black island into a bright, refined environment featuring white cabinetry, a lighter palette, and warm bronze accents. The new design emphasizes openness, symmetry, and a timeless transitional style with soft contrast and layered textures.

ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN

The previous layout had heavy wood finishes, a black island, and a more closed arrangement that limited natural light and made the kitchen feel smaller and disconnected from the adjoining rooms.

NEW FLOOR PLAN

The redesigned layout opens the kitchen to the dining and sunroom areas, removing interior walls for better flow and function. A large white island anchors the space, complemented by updated lighting, improved circulation, and glass-front upper cabinets that draw the eye upward.

CABINETS

Flat panel full-overlay doors with solid wood frames and veneered panels. Perimeter cabinets finished in white paint for brightness and contrast against the lighter island base, creating a cohesive and airy look.

FINISHES

Crisp white cabinetry with subtle sheen, warm bronze fixtures and hardware, white polished ceramic backsplash in a horizontal layout with a herringbone accent behind the range, light quartz countertops with eased edges, and refinished wood flooring to blend with the rest of the home.

TILE & STONE

Polished quartz countertops with a smooth eased edge and a seamless sink reveal. White ceramic tile backsplash arranged in a clean 50/50 horizontal pattern, with a herringbone feature accentuating the cooking area.

FINAL

The renovated kitchen feels open, elegant, and inviting. White cabinetry, warm metallic details, and refined surfaces replace the dark, heavy tones of the previous space. The result is a balanced, light-filled kitchen that combines classic proportions with a modern sense of warmth and simplicity.
